The Paris or Brussels Field Study and Internship Program

Spring 2012: January 23 - May 25
Fall 2012: August 20 - December 21
Spring 2013: January 21 - May 24

Semester calendar: 5 week intensive term + 1 week vacation + 12 week internship

IFE follows a policy of rolling admissions for well-qualified candidates.

Deadline for graduating seniors applying for the Fall semester: June 1, 2012

Program fees for both the Paris and Brussels programs: (N.B.: all prices are in euros)

 Students enrolled as undergraduates at a number of IFE partner institutions continue to pay home tuition for all programs abroad, including IFE, a mechanism that in most cases permits students to apply student aid to overseas education;
 For students who pay program fees directly, as well as for independent candidates, program fees for the Major Program amount to € 7,050. (Some need-based financial aid is available, mainly for students who would be unable to assume the difference between the cost of semester on their home campus and a semester at IFE.)
 The cost of housing depends upon the choice of housing and on the choice of program. Total costs for the entire period of either program are approximately:
Student residences without meals: 2200 €-2600 €
Student residences with partial meal plans: 2500 €-2900 €
Homestays without meals: 2100 €-2300 €
Homestays with some meals: 2400 €-2800 €
