The information and file-links found below pertain to the Paris Field Study and Internship Program (applying to other programs)

The Paris Field Study and Internship Program’s application contains 5 forms. You may download each form separately as a PDF file. The files contain text fields and other fields that may be completed on-screen online, but please note that unfinished files cannot be saved or stored. The easiest method is likely to prepare answers in separate text documents and then copy and paste into text fields in IFE application files.

Some study abroad programs require that you give IFE’s application to their office to be sent on to IFE. You should check with your study abroad office to find out what your school requires in terms of completing this application and with whom to file it.

Please note that a significant amount of the information that IFE requests in its lengthy application is used to constitute a file on each admitted candidate for use in the placement search.

All forms may be filled out electronically, printed and returned to IFE by mail. You are advised to keep a copy for your own records. Recommendation forms should be printed and given to recommenders, or sent to them as attachments.

IN ADDITION, a completed application package includes the following:

 A one-page, up-to-date curriculum vitae in English
 A one-page, up-to-date curriculum vitae in French
 An official transcript from every institution attended after high school
 A letter attesting to the applicant’s good health, written by a college or family physician
 Proof that the applicant will be covered by his/her medical policy while in France
 A check or money order for USD 60, to cover IFE’s non-refundable application fee of USD 50, plus USD 10 membership fee in the non-for-profit association IFE
